About 40,000 applicants come into view in the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) test was carry out on different test in the city Sunday. Call it the hot weather or approach of the hopeful, the test failed to draw out the correct answer from the applicant. One lakh applicants were expected to appear in the latest round of RRB exam, but only around 40,000 candidates appeared.

The excess aggregate was fixed at Allahabad railway junction that candidates converged to return to their respective destinations, after the exam was over, GRP and RPR personnel had a tough time in controlling the amount of crossing.

A record number of about three lakh candidates had applied for the RRB exam. There are 46 seats for the post of ticket collectors. RRB examination conducted on three different dates. The first and second phase of the survey was conducted on April 25 and 9 May, while the last phase was completed Sunday.
